HR Generalist

Your mission

We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to manage our day-to-day people operations and drive our hiring efforts. This role is perfect for someone who loves the "people" side of HR: finding great candidates and ensuring employees are performing at their best. You will be the go-to person for our teams in Portugal, Malta, and Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Active Recruitment: Manage the full hiring pipeline. This includes writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to close roles quickly.

  • Performance Management: Facilitate the review processes. You will ensure managers are completing evaluations on time, help document performance plans, and track employee progress against their goals.

  • Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Take full ownership of the "first day" experience. Ensure new hires in Portugal, Brazil, and Malta have everything they need to start and manage all exit procedures and documentation when they leave.

  • HR Administration & Compliance: Handle the essential paperwork. This includes managing employment contracts, social security registrations in Portugal and Malta, and keeping employee records updated in our HRIS.

  • Payroll Coordination: Act as the bridge between the team and payroll providers. You will collect monthly salary data, track benefit updates (gym, health insurance), among other tasks.

  • Workspace Management: Coordinate logistics and supplier relationships for co-working spaces in Lisbon and Malta, ensuring facility standards and membership requirements are met.


Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Generalist HR role with exposure to finance or business operations.

  • HR Expertise: Proven experience managing performance cycles and recruitment workflows within an international context.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Excel and experience with HRIS and cloud-based accounting/invoicing software.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Malta’s administrative framework is highly desirable.

  • Communication: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Portuguese is a highly appreciated
