Product Design Lead

Your mission

As Odds Scanner's Product Design Lead, you will play a key role in crafting compelling, beautiful, user-focused experiences for our Odds Scanner digital ecosystem of brands and products. As our Product Design Lead, you'll be responsible for driving the company's global experience design output, collaborating with other teams, and ensuring that design standards are raised across our product suite.
You'll bring sharp user-centered thinking and exceptional craft output, developing projects from brief to end user, and delivering work that is distinctive, effective and truly remarkable. You will lead and inspire a growing design team of five product designers to evolve and excel in each project.

Responsibilities

Lead the design process for our product's ecosystem, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
Own the end-to-end design workflow, from concept to delivery, utilizing sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Validate ideas with end users.
Establish and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across our products ecosystem.
Transform data into actionable insights that highlight design opportunities.
Provide knowledge and leadership in UX, UI, Product Design and Design Systems skills to the Product Design Team.
Lead and inspire the design team, by reviewing their work and providing constructive, actionable feedback that improves overall output, and that enables high-quality work.
Help nurture and develop talent, encourage a collaborative environment as well as helping to manage resources, workloads and timelines.
Work with development teams to bring design and/or design system to life.
Help manage projects simultaneously.
Stay current with design trends and best practices, proactively implementing improvements in the team's design process.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of User Experience Design (UX), User Interface Design (UI), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), product design, design systems, and visual design.
Proven ability to lead hands-on with sharp problem-solving and exceptional execution skills.
Capability to elevate design briefs to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to pixel-perfect precision.
Ability to innovate by establishing new design concepts and effectively guiding the design team.
Vast experience working on websites, landing pages, mobile apps, and web applications.
Proficiency in using the latest design and prototyping tools.
Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
A strong online portfolio showcasing selected work (only online portfolios will be considered for evaluation).
