Your mission
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for optimizing operations and driving project success? Our company, a leader in innovative web and application development, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the COO, you will play a critical role in shaping our operational excellence by defining and implementing processes, managing a team of project managers, and ensuring alignment across all departments. If you are a proactive problem solver with a knack for process improvement and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team to help us reach new heights.
Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor the project management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Process Definition: Develop, implement, and refine processes for roadmap planning and project workflows to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for processes, projects, and best practices.
  • Reporting & KPIs: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and success of projects, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Departments Consultancy: Work closely with department owners to provide guidance and support, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including department heads and team members, to guarantee project alignment and success.
  • Team Building: Responsible for building and expanding the entire operations team, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization of team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience (10+ years) in operations management, project management, or a similar role, preferably within a tech or digital agency environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Process-Oriented: Exceptional ability to develop and optimize processes, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello) and tools for documentation and reporting (e.g., Confluence, MS Office Suite).
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Consultancy Skills: Experience working collaboratively with department owners to ensure strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
